We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established specialist distributor business based in Hemel Hempstead. This isn't the first time we've recruited for this lovely bunch of people and I'm very excited to be doing so again. It's a fantastic opportunity with someone with some form of experience and open to more entry-level candidates with the right attitude as full training will be provided.

This role would suit someone with a genuine interest in technology, someone who enjoys a varied role and wants to build a long-term career within the industry.

You'd be working a shift of Monday to Friday, working 8.30am to 4.30pm with an hours lunch break and based in the Maylands area in Hemel Hempstead, a few minutes walk from the shops.

For this position it will be paying £26k to £30k for the right person and varying by level of experience.

The Role

This is a varied position combining warehouse operations with customer support and product administration.

You'll be responsible for preparing customer orders, managing returns and repairs, maintaining equipment and providing first-line support to customers via phone and email. You'll also have the opportunity to attend industry trade shows and events from time to time.

Key Responsibilities

Receiving, checking and booking in deliveries.
Picking, packing and dispatching customer orders.
Managing customer returns and repair requests.
Preparing and maintaining demo equipment.
Providing first-line support to customers by phone and email.
Updating CRM systems and maintaining accurate records.
Liaising with suppliers, service centres and internal departments.
Monitoring stock levels and assisting with stock control.
Supporting the wider operations team with day-to-day warehouse activities.
Attending industry exhibitions and trade shows when required. About You

Has excellent written communication skills and can write professional emails.
Has good attention to detail and a strong memory for processes and product information.
Is organised and able to manage a variety of tasks.
Enjoys providing excellent customer service.
Is comfortable using computers and learning new systems.
Works well both independently and as part of a team.
Previous warehouse, logistics or customer service experience would be an advantageWhat's on Offer?
