Operations Coordinator – Leeds – Competitive Salary & Package

Chase & Holland are excited to be working closely with a leading and successful logistics business based in Leeds who are searching for an enthusiastic and dedicated Operations Coordinator to join their growing team.
Within this role you’ll be responsible for organising international import and export shipment via different means aiming to meet our client’s extensive customer needs.

Onsite study to allow development within a growing businessOperations Coordinator Responsibilities:

Start to finish global import and export operations
Booking and quoting shipments with worldwide points of contact
Negotiating and obtaining shipment best price by liaising with suppliers and carriers
Handling orders, invoices and processing pre-alerts
Checking of cargo ensuring correct documentation and funds are cleared
Completing customs entries
Customer care including follow ups, updates, and keep in touch calls
Develop and maintain relationships with shipping lines, overseas agents etc
General administrationRequired Skills & Experience:

Previous experience in Freight forwarding essential
Knowledge of freight and customs systems (Desirable)
A good understanding of regulations and compliance
Strong negotiation skills
Customer service experience
