This is an excellent opportunity for a professional, organised and personable individual to join a respected law firm in a varied, office-based role. Acting as the first point of contact for visitors, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and professional environment while providing essential administrative and operational support to the wider office.

Working under the guidance of the Operations Team Leader and Manager, you will help ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the office, supporting colleagues and delivering a high standard of service to clients and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the first point of contact for visitors to the Nottingham office, providing a professional and welcoming reception service.
Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to ensure the smooth running of the office.
Assist with general office coordination and facilities-related tasks.
Support colleagues with administrative requests and operational requirements.
Help maintain a professional, organised and efficient working environment.
Liaise with internal teams and external contacts as required.
Ensure visitors and clients receive a positive experience when attending the office.
Undertake general administrative duties and support wider operational activities as required.

About You

We are looking for someone who is proactive, approachable and highly organised, with a strong customer service ethos and the ability to manage a varied workload.

The ideal candidate will have:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A professional and confident telephone manner.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and completing tasks.
The ability to prioritise competing demands and work effectively as part of a team.
Good IT and general administrative skills.
A friendly, professional manner and a commitment to delivering excellent service.

Previous experience in an administrative, reception, office support or customer-facing role would be advantageous. Experience within a law firm or professional services environment would also be beneficial but is not essential.

What's on Offer?

This is a great opportunity to join a respected national law firm and develop your career within a professional services environment.

You will be part of a collaborative team, gain exposure to a broad range of office operations and play an important role in supporting the day-to-day success of the Nottingham office.
