Operations Administrator – Join our team at Suffolk Chamber of Commerce as our Operations Administrator and become a vital part of our mission to support and represent local businesses. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to support our CEO and operations team, ensuring we continue to be the leading voice of business in Suffolk.

Full time, permanent position with opportunities for hybrid working.

Due to an internal promotion, we are seeking an ambitious and organised individual with experience in office administration to join our team. You will be working with our Operations Director in a varied role to provide HR and administrative support, to manage enquiries and room bookings, and to manage the facilities within our busy Ipswich office. This role offers a great opportunity for development and growth within our knowledgeable and supportive team.

If you enjoy being busy and organised, and have a passion for supporting businesses, then we want to hear from you. An understanding of HR processes will be of benefit, but training will be provided for the right candidate who can demonstrate exceptional organisational and administrative skills.

Duties will include:

Providing administrative support to the CEO and Operations Director
Assisting with recruitment and selection administration
Managing the HR database
Greeting visitors, dealing with enquiries, and managing office facilities

Key skills:

Organisation and administration, including diary and email management
Hands on and solutions focused
Confident and professional customer engagement face to face, by email and by phone
Experience and interest in HR administration (training given to exceptional candidates)

We are offering a salary of £23,000 - £26,000 per annum, depending on experience along with company pension, onsite parking, and healthcare package, with opportunities for flexible working.

23 days annual leave (annual increase after three years’ employment to a maximum of 25 days) + Bank Holidays and 3 days leave over the Christmas period.
