Description:
Main Duties and Tasks, in no particular order or preference:
* Maintain customer focus. Deal with customer enquiries and sort problems out.
* Maintain work quality and professionalism and represent the Company as it requires, at all times.
* Control costs.
* To carry out the Company’s operations administration for the Sales/Hire department.
* Be involved in the development and evolution of processes to improve administrative performance and quality of output.
* Example tasks:
* Produce Sales/Hire invoices and arrange transport and customer payments as necessary.
* Pack and arrange delivery of padlocks and shrouds.
* Liaise with customers/suppliers regarding issues with transport off or on customer site, missing accessories, broken doors, leaks etc, working to find a commercially sound resolution.
* Liaise with Depot to create/maintain sound processes for Sales jobs and releases.
* Deal with all invoice queries in collaboration with Purchase ledger.
* Assist in all administration duties required for month and year end.
* Accurately record all container stock movements and allocate to respective invoices.
* Update all Sales analysis and stock spreadsheets where necessary.
* For all areas of responsibility ensure all goods and services, from wherever and however supplied, are delivered professionally to the satisfaction of customers.
* Carry out any other duties if capable, as requested.
* Undertake required training.
Required skills and experience:
* Confident in all Microsoft packages and other Departmental software.
* Confidence in speaking to customers and suppliers on the phone.
* Accurate data entry and adherence to processes.
* Drive processes through but constantly seeking opportunities to improve them.
* Communication Skills
* Build and Maintaining customer and supplier relationships
Experience in a transport or plant hire environment would be preferrable
