UKPN Services is looking for an Operational Engineer - SAP to work in their Chatham office. The successful candidate will report to the Lead Operational Engineer and will be responsible for delivering new connection work, diversions, fault location and repair, and lifecycle replacement schemes for electrical distribution equipment and infrastructure.
The salary for this position is £76,229 plus car and a bonus of 3%. To be eligible for this role, the candidate must have the following qualifications: Senior Authorised Person as defined by the Distribution Safety Rules - Preferable 33kV. Experience in distribution systems through the range 400v to 33kV. Educated to a minimum HNC level qualification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
You must be able to achieve full Ministry of Defence Security Clearance. We ask that you hold full driving licence and be able to work with minimum supervision and manage and prioritise a varied work load.
An understanding of Health and Safety and Environmental Legislation, CDM standards and focussed on safe working is important and you will be measured by your technical competence, adherence to safety and quality systems, customer satisfaction, project management, resource-management and commercial awareness.
