Description:

We are recruiting for an experienced Online Vehicle Diagnostic Technician, Diagnostic Technician, Master Technician or Vehicle Technician to join an office-based automotive technical support team in Nottingham.

Applicants must have strong vehicle diagnostics experience and the right to work in the UK. A Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair is highly preferred.

Location: Nottingham (office based)
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience, up to £45,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:15 am – 5:15 pm (42.5 hours) NO WEEKENDS

Online Vehicle Diagnostic Technician Role
Diagnose complex vehicle faults remotely using specialist diagnostic systems
Carry out module programming, coding and key programming
Interpret diagnostic trouble codes, live data and technical information
Provide technical support and repair guidance to customers and Vehicle Technicians
Recommend corrective actions to support accurate first-time repairs
Maintain accurate records of diagnostic procedures and outcomes
Keep up to date with automotive diagnostic technology, software and repair procedures
Online Vehicle Diagnostic Technician Requirements
Previous experience as a Diagnostic Technician, Master Technician, Vehicle Technician or Automotive Technician
Strong vehicle diagnostic and fault-finding experience
Excellent knowledge of vehicle mechanical, electrical and electronic systems
Experience using automotive diagnostic software and equipment
Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent is highly preferred
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
