Description:
Astute's Renewables team is partnering with one of the words largest renewable energy companies whose goal is a future where everyone has access to affordable zero carbon energy. They are currently looking to recruit an O&M Manager within a commutable distance to Watford and experience working as an Electrical Engineer with experience planning maintenance on MW-scale solar plants.
This O&M Manager role comes with a starting salary of up to £65,000 plus a car allowance and other benefits.

Responsibilities and duties
· Providing Solar O&M services in accordance with client contractual requirements, including a reactive callout service.
· Evaluating maintenance performance metrics and implementing improvement actions.
· Developing maintenance plans in alignment with contract terms, manufacturer's requirements, and industry best practices.
· Assisting in the drafting and review of RAMS, permits, and maintenance procedures.
· Managing a team of engineers, ensuring continuous compliance with HSQE requirements.
· Coordinating with external stakeholders, including internal departments, asset management teams, DNO, and asset owners.
· Utilizing and maintaining a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and other quality management tools as needed.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
Full UK driving license.· Electrical Engineering undergraduate degree or equivalent industry experience.
· IOSH Managing Safely or CITB SMSTS or equivalent.
Personal skills
The O&M Manager role would suit someone who is/has:
· Knowledge of solar farm assets.
· Able to accurately plan high voltage maintenance work including labour, materials and skills
· Previous line management of Engineers

A salary of up to £65,000.
