Onshore/Offshore Chef
1 month FTC (starting on 12th July)
Liverpool - onsite (working arrangements to be discussed)
Salary £ - day rate to be discussed
My client specialises in marine construction and renewables. We are currently recruiting for an Onshore/Offshore Chef to ensure the prompt service of all meals at the required times, to the company's standard and the client's satisfaction on the vessel.
Responsibility:
All food to be prepared and cooked off to the agreed standards in the agreed amounts
Ensure that standards relating to food and cleaning service are always maintained, strict attention is paid to the requirement of the Food Safety Act (particularly undertaking and recording of temperature controls and overall food hygiene).
Manage and rotate stock to ensure food safety and minimum wastage and achievement of contract food costs.
Assist in menu compilation
Ensure all catering equipment is operated and maintained in a safe and clean manner and report any defects.
Required experience:
Full GWO and either OGUK or ENG1 - Essential
Happy to work away weeks at a time
Relevant culinary experience operating at a Chef level
A passion for food and service
Flexible approach to hours and duties
