Offline Programmer, Poole, £40,000
Purpose of the role
As an Offline Programmer, you will be response for developing programs for an Armada press brake machine. The ideal candidate will have a background in CAM programming and a thorough understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficiency, accuracy, and quality of our production operations.
If you have transferable skills, and experience using CAM software, training can be provided.

As n Offline Programmer, your responsibilities will include
Interpret customer drawings and convert to 3D models (predominantly sheet metal parts).
Create and optimise programs for Armada press brake machines using CAD/CAM software.
Select appropriate punches and dies based on material type, thickness, and bend requirements.
Optimise material usage to reduce waste and improve cost efficiency.
Work closely with machine operators and production team to ensure correct program execution and troubleshoot any issues.
Ensure final products meet required specifications and quality standards.
Liaise effectively with customers.
As an Offline Programmer, you will have
Previous experience using Inventor is advantageous.
Experience using CAM software.
Strong administrative skills and attention to detail are essential.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
