Are you an experienced Office and Transport Administrator looking for an exciting opportunity? Our client is seeking a talented individual to join their team in Newbury. This role will involve both office administration and supporting the transport department, offering you a chance to diversify your skill set and make a positive impact. This role offers a Temp contract, potentially going perm, providing stability and the potential for long-term growth. As a full-time position, you will be working Monday to Friday, 42.5 hours a week, with a convenient 8am - 5pm schedule and a half-hour unpaid lunch break. The salary is up to £26,500, offering a competitive compensation package for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

Update and record holiday requisitions.
Enter weekly agency timesheets.
Raise purchase orders.
Monitor stock room levels.
Handle telephone and email queries.
Assist with daily office operations.
Maintain an up-to-date filing system.Skills and Qualifications:

Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with a professional telephone manner.
Ability to multitask, work independently, and take initiative.
Excellent time management and prioritisation abilities.
Flexibility and willingness to undertake varied responsibilities.
Punctuality, politeness, and professionalism towards customers.In addition to office administration, you will also work closely with the Office Transport Manager on various transport-related tasks. This will involve updating transport schedules, coordinating with customers and transport providers, and managing fleet, third-party, and fuel costs. This dynamic aspect of the role will allow you to utilise your skills in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
