Lime Tree Education Search is supporting a friendly, community-focused one-form entry primary school in North London with the appointment of a School Office Manager.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced school administrator or office manager seeking a varied and rewarding role within a supportive primary school environment.

Have previous experience working within the administration of a UK school
Have experience using a school Management Information System such as Arbor, SIMS or Bromcom
Already have the Right to Work in the UK (visa sponsorship is not available for this role) Unfortunately, applications from candidates without previous school-based administration experience cannot be considered.
The Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Headteacher, you'll oversee the smooth day-to-day running of the school office, providing operational support across administration, HR, finance and compliance.
This is a broad and varied position which would suit someone who enjoys responsibility, thrives in a busy environment and takes pride in keeping systems, processes and people working effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the school office and administrative function
Oversee admissions and attendance
Support HR administration and safer recruitment
Maintain the Single Central Record and safeguarding compliance
Manage finance administration, purchasing and payroll support
Maintain the school's MIS (Arbor)
Line manage administrative staff
Support governors, parents and external agencies
Continually improve systems and processes to ensure the school operates efficiently About You
This role would suit an experienced School Office Manager, School Business Manager or Senior School Administrator looking for a fresh challenge, or an experienced Senior School Administrator who is ready to step into their first Office Manager position
You'll be organised, proactive and approachable, with the confidence to work independently whilst building excellent relationships with pupils, families, colleagues and the wider school community.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
Previous experience within a school or academy setting
Excellent organisational and administrative skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise workload
A professional, approachable and positive manner
Confidence communicating with a wide range of stakeholders
Experience using school MIS systems such as Arbor, SIMS or Bromcom
