Job Title: Office Manager

Location: Exeter

Hours: Full Time, Monday-Friday 8.00am-5.00pm may be flexible for the right person

Salary: £28,000-£34,000 per annum DOE

The Company: A small, reputable down to earth, independent engineering firm, with over 10 years of experience in the business. The business is growing and looking for someone to go on the journey and develop the role.

The Role: As the Office Manager, you will join a small team of 6, in the friendly family run business. Being highly organised and enthusiastic, the Office Manager will ensure the smooth running of this busy office.

You will play a key role in ensuring outstanding customer service is delivered, supporting the engineers and the wider business in all areas of administration. Dealing with some aspects of finance and being a proactive problem solver. There is real room for growth in this role as you will start at the grass routes undertaking all administration duties but grow and develop the position using strong business acumen and operational experience.

Key Duties

To look after the daily administration needs of the office
First point of contact for customers
Deal with general enquiries via phone and email and problem solve, directing when necessary
Assigning quotes to the most appropriate engineer
Diary and inbox management
General finance duties including invoicing, bank reconciliations, light credit control
Managing the Service plans for clients and all associated administration
Oversee and upkeep office supplies and equipmentAbout You

Previous accounts or finance experience beneficial
A good working level within all Microsoft packages
Experience with Xero beneficial, or similar finance software
Ability to multitask and prioritise
Proactivity and the ability to problem solve
Ability to work as part of a team
Be highly organised
