Are you passionate about supporting families and providing vital services to children in your community? VNA Recruitment are currently on the lookout for a dedicated Office Manager to lead administrative operations and ensure the efficient functioning of our centre.
The Role:
As the Children's Centre Office Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the smooth running of our centre's administrative functions. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Overseeing day-to-day office operations, including managing administrative staff and delegating tasks
* Maintaining accurate records of children and families accessing our services, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations
* Coordinating communication between staff, parents, external agencies, and partner organisations
* Managing financial processes, such as budgeting, invoicing, and petty cash handling
* Facilitating the organisation of events, workshops, and activities for children and families
* Providing administrative support to the Centre Manager and other staff members as required
Requirements:
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
* Previous experience in office management or administration, ideally within a childcare or family support setting
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to working with children and families
* Proficiency in IT systems, including Microsoft Office applications and database management software
* A proactive attitude, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
