Salary: £14.50 - £17.50 (per hour)
Hours: 20 hours per week (flexible working hours)

The Opportunity

Thompson & Terry Recruitment are working with a small independent business based in Newbury, who are looking to recruit an experienced Office Administrator to join their friendly and well established team.

The reason for Office Administrator vacancy is as a result of growth the Managing Director is looking to hand over much of the office administration, so he is able to focus on growing the business.

As Office Administrator you will be responsible for wearing the ‘many hats’ required when working within a small business. This could range from managing emails, telephone calls, logistics, purchasing, audits and the day to day administration of the business,

This Office Administrator job is very well suited to candidates who have small business mentality and extensive experience within office administration and can provide a reliable pair of hands, whilst working autonomously, as there will be times you will be the only person in the office.

Requirements:

An experienced and confident administrator, who is confident to pick up new systems and really make the role their own

The ability to work autonomously as there will be times when you are the only person in the office

Whilst most external communication is via email, the successful candidate must be confident to pick up the phone

*

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, whilst being super organised and efficient

*

A real team player with the willingness to wear the many hats often required in a small business
