Role: Ocean Import Coordinator

Location: Liverpool

Salary: £27k – £39k (DOE) + Benefits

Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Summary: A premier Liverpool freight forwarder is seeking an experienced International Freight Coordinator to manage global sea freight trade lanes. This role goes beyond data entry, offering full ownership of the import lifecycle.

Core Duties:

* Oversee deep-sea import shipments (FCL/LCL) from booking to final delivery.

* Liaise with shipping lines, hauliers, and ports to prevent delays and minimize costs.

* Process customs declarations and ensure regulatory compliance.

* Provide top-tier customer service with proactive tracking updates.

Requirements:

* 2+ years in UK Ocean Import forwarding.

* Familiarity with port systems (CNS/Destin8) and Incoterms.

* Experience with CargoWise or similar freight software.
