We're recruiting an experienced Ocean Import Coordinator to join a successful, privately owned freight forwarding business in Manchester.
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants ownership, variety and genuine career progression within a supportive and growing team.
The Role
You'll manage ocean import shipments from start to finish, including:
FCL & LCL shipments
Booking with shipping lines and overseas agents
Shipping documentation and customs/CDS
Customer, haulier and agent liaison
Shipment tracking and proactive customer updates
Costing, invoicing and resolving operational issues
Building strong customer relationships
About You
You'll have:
Proven Ocean Import / freight forwarding experience
FCL & LCL knowledge
Customs/CDS experience
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Strong organisation and attention to detail
The ability to manage multiple shipments in a busy environment
CargoWise experience is advantageous
