Ocean Export Clerk

£22,000 - £28,000 DOE
Our client, is a well-established Global Freight Forwarder, are now looking for an experienced Ocean Export Clerk - to be based at their office near Marston Green - Birmingham
You will deal with all aspects of Sea freight export and all sea freight export documentation and administration as well as liasing with overseas offices.
Role
* Record information on the CRM System
* Maintain systems and provide a high level of customer service.
* Liaising with sea freight customers,
* Taking bookings, arranging collections, giving quotations,
* Manage end-to-end process for OFR Exports and designated customers,
* Handling all aspects of sea freight documentation, (FCL, LCL exports, Customs)
* Dealing with overseas orders
* General office administration
Skills
You will have previous experience in a Sea freight role with a freight forwarder in a busy Exports Freight Forwarding department.
* Excellent communication
* Excellent customer service
* Ability to work under pressure
* Knowledge of BOXTOP would be an advantage
