Occupational Therapist – Reablement Service

Enfield Council is looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join their Adult Social Services Reablement Team. This is a rewarding opportunity to support adults in regaining and maintaining independence following illness, injury, deterioration, or hospital discharge.
Key Responsibilities
*
Complete strengths-based occupational therapy assessments
*
Develop person-centred reablement plans focused on independence and wellbeing
*
Recommend equipment, assistive technology, and adaptations
*
Provide moving and handling advice to service users, carers, and staff
*
Support hospital discharge and prevent escalation of care needs
*
Work closely with social workers, health professionals, and partner agencies
*
Maintain accurate case records and apply safeguarding principles at all times
Requirements
*
Qualified Occupational Therapist with current HCPC registration
*
Experience within Adult Social Care or Reablement services
*
Strong knowledge of the Care Act, safeguarding, and Mental Capacity legislation
*
Ability to manage a varied and fast-paced caseload
*
Enhanced DBS required
