Eden Brown are looking for an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to work on behalf of a private client based in Solihull.
This is a full time, permanent position starting as soon as possible. Paying between £28,407 - £34,501 (dependant on experience).
Situated on the outskirts of Solihull and Coventry, the client provides Rehabilitation & Recovery services to 31 inpatients over three wards.
Patients have a primary diagnosis of a Serious Mental Illness, with additional complexities such as physical health conditions, substance misuse, and secondary mental health issues. The hospital offers a range of assessments, treatments and interventions with a strong focus on patient collaboration in decision making and working with people in the least restrictive way.
You will be expected to support patients to engage in the therapeutic programme which is delivered in conjunction with psychology and nursing colleagues. This will be achieved through the planning and facilitation of 1:1 and group interventions. You will work alongside other members of the multidisciplinary team to identify the patients' Occupational Needs.
To apply for this role, you must be a fully qualified HCPC Registered Occupational Therapist with experience working with mental health (placement experience acceptable).
The role involves applying OT assessments and interventions, 1-to-1 with patients and also leading group work, and experience of both is highly desired.
