Occupational Health Technician
Location: Greater Manchester, with travel to client sites.
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
Salary: up to £29,000
We are working with a well-established occupational health provider seeking an Occupational Health Technician to join their growing team. This is a varied field-based role, supporting the delivery of health surveillance services across a range of client sites.
This position would suit someone with previous experience in occupational health who is confident working independently, enjoys travel, and takes pride in delivering a high standard of service.
The role:
Travel to client sites and operate a fully equipped Mobile Medical Unit.
Carry out health surveillance assessments including audiometry, lung function testing, drug and alcohol testing, and baseline measurements.
Set up and maintain mobile clinics to ensure smooth delivery of services.
Prepare, check and stock equipment for site-based visits.
Support the wider occupational health team with clinical and administrative tasks.
Maintain accurate records and ensure all documentation is completed in line with data protection requirements.
Liaise professionally with clients, internal teams and external contacts.
Stay away overnight on occasion, where required and fully covered by the business.What we are looking for:
Full, clean UK driving licence.
Previous experience as an Occupational Health Technician.
Willingness to travel regularly to different sites.
Ability to work autonomously and manage your own workload.
Strong IT and administration skills.
Excellent communication, organisation and attention to detail.
