Are you an experienced Occupational Health Adviser looking to take the next step in your career?

We're recruiting for a Lead Occupational Health Adviser to join a growing and highly regarded health and wellbeing organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity to combine hands-on clinical practice with leadership responsibilities, supporting the development of a team while continuing to deliver high-quality Occupational Health services.

You'll play a key role in maintaining clinical excellence, driving service performance and supporting the ongoing growth of the Occupational Health function within a collaborative and supportive environment.

The Role

As Lead Occupational Health Adviser, you will support the day-to-day leadership of a team of Occupational Health Advisers, ensuring high standards of service delivery, clinical governance and client satisfaction.

Alongside leadership duties, you will manage your own clinical caseload, conducting Occupational Health assessments and providing expert advice to both employees and employers.

Key Responsibilities

Support the management, coaching and development of the Occupational Health Adviser team.
Maintain high clinical standards and ensure compliance with governance frameworks.
Conduct quality audits and provide training and mentoring to team members.
Monitor performance against KPIs and service level agreements.
Lead regular one-to-ones, probation reviews and performance discussions.
Support risk management, safeguarding matters and clinical escalations.
Assist with investigating and resolving clinical queries and complaints.
Deliver Occupational Health assessments and produce high-quality reports.
Identify training needs and contribute to continuous professional development initiatives.
Support accreditation processes and quality assurance activities.

We're keen to speak with Occupational Health professionals who have:

A Specialist Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health.
Current NMC registration (Part 3 registration desirable).
Previous leadership, mentoring or team management experience.
Current Occupational Health practice experience.
Excellent report writing and communication skills.
Strong organisational and stakeholder management abilities.
Commercial awareness and the ability to balance clinical and operational priorities.
A proactive approach and passion for delivering outstanding Occupational Health services.
