About the Role
As Home Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the successful management of the care home, ensuring consistently high standards of care, compliance and resident wellbeing.
You will lead, inspire and develop a dedicated team, oversee the home's operational and financial performance, maintain strong occupancy levels and build positive relationships with residents, relatives, healthcare professionals and other key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Overall operational management of the care home
Ensuring compliance with Care Inspectorate standards and regulatory requirements
Leading, developing and motivating care teams
Delivering high-quality, person-centred care
Promoting resident independence, dignity, choice and wellbeing
Managing budgets and achieving financial targets
Maintaining strong occupancy levels and service performance
Recruiting, developing and retaining high-quality colleagues
Building effective relationships with residents, families and external stakeholders
Driving continuous quality improvement across the home
Ensuring company policies, procedures and legal requirements are consistently followed
Who We're Looking For
We are looking for an experienced Home Manager with a strong track record of leading care teams and delivering high standards of resident care.
You will ideally have:
Proven experience managing a care or nursing home
Strong knowledge of Care Inspectorate standards and regulatory requirements
Excellent leadership and people management skills
Experience managing budgets, occupancy and operational performance
A genuine passion for delivering outstanding person-centred care
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
A track record of developing and motivating teams
A commitment to continuous improvement and service excellence
