Purosearch have a fantastic job opportunity to join an exclusive care provider. We have a brilliant care home manager job. You will oversee a wonderful care home which boasts a great reputation in the Dorset area.
I am looking for a Nursing Home Manager to manage a beautiful medium service which has a good CQC rating. The home provides nursing care. It boasts opulence and comfort and is surrounded by delightful gardens. It is situated in a well-established village location and it is an easy commute from surrounding areas such as Bournemouth, Poole, Dorset etc.
This is a hands on role and you will be expected to market, promote, advertise and recruit as well as liaising with relevant governing bodies and local authorities. You will lead and inspire your team to provide outstanding, truly personalised care to your residents.
Ideal candidates will either be a nurse - RGN / RMN or will be non-nurse qualified with nursing home management knowledge. Nursing home manager candidates should have a good track record of obtaining compliant CQC reports.
Nursing Home Manager Job Requirements:
• Overall responsibility of the home
• Staff management/ appraisals/ training
• Care plans/ reviews/ meetings
• General management of the nursing areas
Skills/ Qualifications:
• Previous managerial experience
• Clinical background & a strong leader.
• RGN/RMN - preferred but not essential
• Hands on practical approach
• Sound knowledge of CQC and Care Standards
• Dynamic & Enthusiastic
