Description:
Hoop Nursing are seeking an exceptional Nursing Home Manager who is confident building a positive, efficient and accountable culture. We are looking for someone who is approachable and compassionate, but also direct, decisive, and able to make difficult decisions, when needed.
As Home Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring outstanding clinical care, regulatory compliance, staff development, and financial performance.
We're looking for someone, who:
* Is an experienced Nursing Home Manager with a proven record of success.
* Is a confident leader who communicates clearly and effectively
* Is personable and approachable, but confident having difficult conversations, when necessary
* Has strong commercial awareness alongside a genuine passion for delivering outstanding care
* Can motivate, develop, and retain teams
* Maintains high standards and holds themselves and others accountable
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee all aspects of the home's operation.
* Ensure full compliance with CIW regulations and all statutory requirements
* Lead, mentor, and develop the management and clinical teams
* Manage budgets, occupancy, and overall home performance
* Build positive relationships with residents, families, professionals, and external agencies
* Drive continuous improvement and maintain a culture of excellence
Essential:
* Registered Nurse with an active PIN
* Level 5 in Management
* Previous experience managing a nursing home service
* Strong knowledge of CIW standards and regulatory requirements
* Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills
* Demonstrable experience in improving quality, compliance, and operational performance
