Salary: £85-95 per day
Role Overview:
As a Nursery Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the development and well-being of children in the early years setting. Working closely with the nursery team, you will contribute to creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can thrive.
Responsibilities:
Assist the nursery staff in implementing a dynamic and engaging curriculum tailored to the needs of young children.
Support children in their learning and development through a variety of activities, including play, arts and crafts, and outdoor exploration.
Foster positive relationships with children, providing encouragement, support, and guidance as they explore and learn.
Help maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines and school policies.
Collaborate with colleagues and communicate effectively with parents and caregivers to ensure the holistic well-being of each child.
Requirements:
Experience working with young children, preferably in a nursery or early years setting.
A warm and nurturing approach, with a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Relevant qualifications in childcare, early years education, or a related field are desirable but not essential.
An enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check will be required for this position.
