Nursery Teaching Assistant - Full Time
Location: LS4, Leeds
Hours: Full-Time, Term Time Only
Start Date: ASAP
We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic and reliable Nursery Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the LS4 area.
Working within the school nursery, you will support children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), helping to create a positive, engaging and nurturing learning environment where every child can thrive.
The Role:
Supporting children aged 3-4 years within the school nursery
Assisting with play-based learning activities in line with the EYFS curriculum
Encouraging children's communication, social and emotional development
Supporting the class teacher and wider Early Years team throughout the school day
Helping to maintain a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment
Building positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents
Requirements:
Previous experience working within EYFS is essential
Experience in a school nursery, private nursery, preschool or similar Early Years setting
A patient, nurturing and proactive approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A genuine passion for supporting young children's development
