Academics are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Teacher to oversee a primary school's nursery which consists of 52-pupils and manage a team of 4 staff members for the Autumn term. This role requires strong leadership, a passion for early childhood education, and the ability to create a nurturing and stimulating environment for our young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

Leading and managing the nursery setting, ensuring high standards of care and education
Planning and delivering engaging and age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS curriculum
Supporting and mentoring the nursery staff, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment
Monitoring and assessing children's progress, providing feedback and support to parents
Ensuring the nursery operates in compliance with all relevant regulations and best practices
Creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for all childrenRequirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialisation in Early Years Education
Proven experience in a leadership role within a nursery or early years setting
Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development
Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
A proactive and positive approach to problem-solving and team management
