Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Nursery Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about early childhood education and has substantial experience in a nursery setting. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing personal care for children and thriving in a busy, hands-on environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and implementation of daily activities and educational programs.
- Provide high-quality care and supervision for children.
- Support children's learning and development through engaging, hands-on activities.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment.
- Assist with personal care routines, including feeding, changing, and toileting.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the nursery day.
- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers about their child's progress and needs.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 Year experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
- Must have Relevant childcare qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2 or 3 in Early Years Education).
- Proven experience in providing personal care for young children.
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development.
- Ability to manage a busy and dynamic nursery environment effectively.
