Nursery Room Leader
Full Time | Competitive Salary | Balham
We're looking for an experienced and passionate Nursery Room Leader to join our brand-new, purpose-built nursery in Balham.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new team from the very beginning, leading your room and helping to create a nurturing, inspiring environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive.
What You'll Do
* Lead the day-to-day running of your nursery room.
* Deliver high-quality care and education in line with the EYFS.
* Plan engaging learning experiences that support children's development.
* Lead, motivate, and support your room team.
* Monitor observations, assessments, and children's learning journeys.
* Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
* Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health and safety, and compliance.
About You
* Level 3 Early Years qualification (or above).
* Previous experience in an Early Years setting, ideally in a Room Leader or senior role.
* Strong knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
* Passionate about delivering outstanding childcare and supporting your team.
