We are seeking a passionate and experienced Nursery Room Leader to join a welcoming Early Years setting in Harrow. This is a rewarding opportunity to take ownership of a nursery room, inspire a team of practitioners and create meaningful learning experiences that help young children flourish.

You will be:

Leading the day-to-day running of your room, ensuring a smooth, organised and engaging environment for children and staff

Inspiring, guiding and supporting your team to deliver consistently high standards of care and education

Bringing the EYFS curriculum to life through creative, purposeful and age-appropriate learning experiences
*
Creating a welcoming, stimulating space where children feel safe, valued and encouraged to explore
*
Championing each child's individual development, confidence and emotional wellbeing
*
Overseeing observations, assessments and planning to ensure every child's progress is recognised and supported
*
Building meaningful relationships with children and families, creating a strong sense of trust and partnership
*
Coaching and mentoring colleagues, encouraging collaboration and continuous professional growth
*
Upholding safeguarding, health and safety and nursery policies to maintain a safe and supportive setting
*
Working closely with the nursery management team to strengthen daily practice and contribute to the setting's continued success
What we're looking for:
The ideal candidate will hold a Level 3 Childcare or Early Years qualification and bring solid experience from a nursery environment. Previous experience as a Room Leader or Senior Early Years Practitioner would be particularly valuable, along with the confidence to lead a team, make informed decisions and take ownership of room standards.
You'll have a strong understanding of the EYFS, safeguarding and child development, complemented by excellent communication, organisation and people-management skills.
Above all, we're looking for someone who leads by example, brings energy and initiative to their work and genuinely enjoys helping children and fellow practitioners reach their potential.
