Nursery Room Leader

Are you a nurturing and experienced childcare professional with a Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education? We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Room Leader to join our team in East London

As the Level 3 Qualified Room Leader, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education for children in your assigned room, ensuring their safety, well-being, and development. You will lead a team of nursery practitioners, providing guidance and support, and fostering a stimulating and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.

Duties will include:

✅ As a Room Leader, lead your assigned room, ensuring the effective day-to-day management and operation of the room in accordance with the nursery's policies and procedures.

✅ Provide high-quality care and education for children in your care, planning and implementing a stimulating and age-appropriate curriculum in line with the EYFS framework as a Room Leader.

✅ Supervise and support nursery practitioners within your room, providing guidance, training, and feedback to ensure the delivery of outstanding care and education as a Room Leader.

✅ Build positive relationships with parents and caregivers, providing regular communication and updates on their child's progress and well-being as a Room Leader.

✅ Ensure the safety and well-being of children and staff within your room, maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety at all times as a Room Leader.

✅ Conduct regular observations and assessments of children's development, maintaining accurate records and using this information to inform planning and provision as a Room Leader.

✅ Collaborate with the management team to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance the quality of care and education provided within your room as a Room Leader.

Requirements:

✅ Level 3 or above CCLD Qualification (or equivalent).

✅ Experience working with babies and children from 3 months to 5 years old.

✅ 2 years of relevant experience (ideally experience in dealing with Ofsted inspections).

✅ A great work ethic and the ability to manage a team as a Room Leader.

✅ Ability to delegate and manage your time effectively as a Room Leader.

✅ Of course, you'll also need an Enhanced DBS check!
