Key Responsibilities
Have a genuine passion for the Early Years sector
Deliver outstanding learning opportunities and exceptional care
To act as key person for a group of children, by observing and monitoring. To ensure that all your key children have an accurate, up to date record of their learning and achievements.
To plan and lead room supervisions, to support your team reflect on and develop their own practice, focusing on the needs and interests of the current cohort of children as well as the provision, learning and development opportunities provided.
Setting up and decontamination of instruments
To assist and support the Nursery Manager and Deputy Nursery Manager in the daily running of the nursery, but especially within the Ladybird Room.
Communicate with colleagues, parents/carers to meet the individual needs of the children
As a keyworker for a group of children you will ensure every individual child’s needs are met, every day
Update parents on their child’s day and development with invaluable professional feedback
