Nursery Practitioner - Aspire People

The Role
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play an important role in providing high-quality care, education and support to children aged 0-5 years. You will work as part of a dedicated team to create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, develop and reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the learning, development and wellbeing of children aged 0-5 in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
* Create a safe, welcoming, stimulating and nurturing environment where children feel secure and encouraged to learn.
* Plan and participate in engaging, age-appropriate activities that support children's social, emotional, physical and cognitive development.
* Recognise and support children's individual needs, interests, abilities and stages of development.
* Encourage children to develop their confidence, independence, communication and social skills.
* Assist with planning and implementing activities that promote children's learning and development.
* Build positive and professional relationships with children, colleagues, parents and carers.
* Follow safeguarding procedures and promote the welfare of all children in your care.
What We Are Looking For
* Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare - essential.
* Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
* A good understanding of the EYFS framework.
* A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* A caring, patient and positive approach.
* The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
* A flexible and proactive approach to working hours and responsibilities.
* A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
