Are you a passionate and dedicated Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Practitioner looking for a new opportunity with the potential to secure a permanent position?

Veritas Education is recruiting on behalf of welcoming and well-established nursery settings across Leeds for enthusiastic Early Years Practitioners to join their teams on a temporary-to-permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to demonstrate your skills, become part of a supportive team, and progress into a permanent role.

As an Early Years Practitioner, you'll play a vital role in creating a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. You'll support children's development through engaging activities, build positive relationships with families, and contribute to delivering high-quality Early Years education in line with the EYFS framework.

Key Responsibilities:

Support children's learning and development through fun, engaging, and play-based activities
Plan and deliver age-appropriate experiences that promote children's progress
Create a safe, caring, and inclusive learning environment
Observe, assess, and contribute to children's learning journeys
Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
Encourage children's confidence, independence, and wellbeing
Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies at all times
Work collaboratively as part of a supportive Early Years team

Requirements:

Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education, Childcare, or an equivalent qualification (essential)
Previous experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting
Good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
A caring, reliable, and enthusiastic approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A genuine passion for supporting young children's development
