Are you a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner looking for a role that gives you more flexibility and control over your working week?

Simply Education is looking for Level 2 and Level 3 qualified Early Years Practitioners to work with a range of friendly and welcoming nurseries across Leeds and the surrounding areas.

Whether you're looking for a few flexible days each week, regular ongoing work or a longer-term placement, we can help find opportunities that work around you.

What you'll be doing

As a Nursery Practitioner, you'll become a valued part of the nursery team, helping to create a safe, happy and engaging environment where children can learn, play and develop.

You'll be responsible for:

Supporting children aged 0-5 with their learning and development
Delivering fun and engaging activities in line with the EYFS
Creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment
Building positive relationships with children and nursery staff
Supporting children's emotional, social and physical development
Following safeguarding and nursery policies at all times

What we're looking for

We welcome applications from both qualified and experienced Nursery Practitioners.

Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years is desirable, but not essential
Non-qualified applicants will be considered, providing you have previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting
A good understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding
A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach
Reliable, professional and confident working within different nursery environments
Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service is desirable, or willingness to apply for oneIf you have hands-on nursery experience but don't hold a formal childcare qualification, we'd still love to hear from you.
