Veritas Education is currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join a welcoming and supportive nursery in Queens Park, West London.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Nursery Practitioner who is passionate about Early Years, enjoys supporting children's learning and development, and is looking to build a long-term career within a high-quality nursery setting.

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will work with children aged 0-5 years, creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, develop and thrive. The successful Nursery Practitioner will work as part of a dedicated Early Years team and support children's development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

The Ideal Nursery Practitioner Will Have:

A recognised Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare or an equivalent qualification (essential)
Previous experience working as a Nursery Practitioner or Early Years Practitioner
A strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development
A genuine passion for working with children aged 0-5
A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
The ability to build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
A commitment to safeguarding and children's well being
The ability to work effectively as part of a nursery team

Key Responsibilities of the Nursery Practitioner:

Support children's learning and development through engaging, age-appropriate and play-based activities
Help plan and deliver stimulating Early Years experiences in line with the EYFS
Observe, assess and record children's progress and development
Support children's personal, social and emotional development
Assist with daily nursery routines, including mealtimes, personal care and outdoor play
Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating environment for all children
Build strong and positive relationships with children and their families
Work closely with colleagues to provide high-quality care and education
Follow safeguarding, health and safety and nursery policies and procedures
Contribute positively to the day-to-day running of the nursery
