CACHE Level 3 Teaching Assistant Wanted
APT Education is currently recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic CACHE Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming village Primary School near Croughton from January 2027.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive school community where staff work closely together to create a positive, nurturing and engaging learning environment for all pupils.
The role is full-time and offers the opportunity to make a genuine difference to children's educational development on a daily basis.
The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to support teaching and learning across the primary age range.
Responsibilities will include:
* Supporting pupils in lessons and small group activities
* Assisting with the delivery of engaging learning experiences
* Supporting pupils' academic, social and emotional development
* Encouraging positive behaviour and classroom engagement
* Working with individual pupils who may require additional support
* Helping to prepare learning resources and classroom activities
* Supporting children across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 as required
Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants must have:
✅ CACHE Level 3 Qualification (or equivalent recognised Teaching Assistant qualification)
✅ Previous experience working within a Primary School setting
✅ A passion for supporting children's learning and development
✅ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
✅ A positive, patient and proactive approach
✅ The ability to work effectively as part of a team
✅ An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
Due to the village location of the school, access to a vehicle would be highly desirable.
