TeacherActive is proud to be working in partnership with a well-established and welcoming nursery in the Harlow area. The nursery is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced early years professional who is passionate about supporting young children's learning and development within a nurturing, stimulating, and child-centred environment.

The Role:

• Providing high-quality care and education for children in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
• Planning and delivering engaging activities that support children's individual learning and development
• Acting as a key person and building positive relationships with children and their families
• Observing, assessing, and recording children's progress and achievements
• Creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that encourages learning through play
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to maintain outstanding standards of care and education
• Following safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies and procedures at all times

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

• A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)
• Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting
• A sound understanding of the EYFS framework and child development
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A positive, caring, and professional attitude
• Excellent organisational and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures

Essential Requirements:

• Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education and Childcare or equivalent
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
• Satisfactory references covering the last two years
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
