About the Nursery

Our well-established nursery is dedicated to providing a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment where children can flourish. We care for children aged 6 months to 5 years, delivering high-quality early years education and childcare that supports every child to reach their full potential.

The Role

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting children's learning, development and wellbeing. Working alongside an experienced and supportive team, you will help create engaging learning experiences, encourage children's independence, and ensure their daily care needs are met in a warm and nurturing setting.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Observe, assess and record children's progress and developmental milestones.
Build positive relationships with children, parents and carers, maintaining effective communication at all times.
Promote and maintain a safe, secure and hygienic learning environment.
Support children's emotional wellbeing, confidence and social development.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to create an inspiring and stimulating nursery environment.
Requirements

A minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare (or equivalent).
Previous experience within a nursery or early years setting is desirable.
Good understanding of the EYFS framework and its practical application.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A genuine passion for supporting young children's learning and development.
Working Hours

Full-time position
Monday to Friday
8:00am to 4:00pm

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
