Nursery Nurse

Description:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Unqualified staff member to join our friendly early years team in South East London. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for working with children, a creative approach to learning, and the ability to provide high-quality care and education in a nurturing environment.

As a valued member of our nursery team, you will play a key role in supporting the development, wellbeing, and early learning of children aged 0–5, helping them to reach their full potential in line with the EYFS framework.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS.
Support children’s learning and development through play-based experiences.
Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Maintain accurate observations and records of children’s progress.
Ensure a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
Follow all safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies and procedures.

Requirements

Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification (or equivalent).
Sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
A caring, patient, and enthusiastic nature.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Valid Paediatric First Aid certificate (or willingness to obtain).
