Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dedicated Nursery Nurse to join our team. As a Nursery Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to create a nurturing environment that promotes children's holistic development.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging activities that promote children's physical, cognitive, and social-emotional development.
Establish positive relationships with children and families, fostering a sense of belonging and trust.
Maintain a safe and stimulating learning environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their achievements and identifying areas for further support.
Collaborate with colleagues and external professionals to meet the individual needs of children, including those with additional needs.
Requirements:
Level 3 qualification in Childcare (e.g., CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education)
Previous experience working as a Nursery Nurse or in a similar role
Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in early years education
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
