TeacherActive is proud to be working with a private day-nursery with their search for a Nursery Practitioner. This is an exciting opportunity work with a friendly and energetic private day-nursery in Exeter, who focus on children’s development with a holistic approach. The setting provides both indoor and outdoor areas that are split into age-appropriate sections and have lots of opportunities for sensory enhancing activities. The nursery ensures children are able to challenge themselves and take risks in a safe and secure environment.

The nursery is looking to take on a Level 3 qualified Nursery Practitioner, on a long-term basis with the opportunity to go permanent for the right Nursery Practitioner. You will report directly to the Nursery Manager and could be required to work across all rooms, supporting children from ages 8 weeks up to 5 years. In a time of growth for this Nursery, career progression opportunities are also available for the right Nursery Practitioner.

The successful applicant should have a working and up to date knowledge of the EYFS and Safeguarding, along with other relevant training.

The successful Nursery Practitioner will have:

· Level 3 desirable

· Level 2 required

· Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Studies (EYFS) curriculum

· ‘Can-do’ approach with the willingness to get stuck in

· Adaptability and experience within Early Years settings
