Nursery Nurse Position - Level 3 Qualification Required
Are you passionate about shaping the future of our next generation? We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Nursery Nurse to join a team in Sunderland!
Position: Nursery Nurse
Location: Sunderland
Contract: Full Time, Temporary
Start Date: 20th May
Key Responsibilities:
Provide a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment in line with EYFS standards.
Plan and supervise activities like arts and crafts, music and cooking.
Help children to develop their literacy and numeracy skills.
Monitor children's progress, and identify and deal with any issues.
Attend parent-teacher meetings.
Uphold the nursery's reputation for high-quality care.Qualifications:
A Level 3 qualification in Childcare (e.g., NVQ or equivalent).
Experience in a nursery setting.
An understanding of the EYFS framework.
Current DBS check.Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a team.
A positive approach to learning and development.We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff to share this commitment. An enhanced DBS check is required for this role.
