Nursery Manager – Streatham
Full Time | Permanent
TEJ Education is recruiting an experienced Nursery Manager for a well-established nursery group in Streatham, South London.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Early Years professional who is confident leading a nursery team, maintaining high standards of care and education and supporting the continued development of a busy nursery setting.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the nursery, leading and supporting staff and ensuring children receive a safe, nurturing and stimulating Early Years experience.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leading the day-to-day operation of the nursery
* Managing, motivating and developing the Early Years team
* Maintaining high standards across the EYFS
* Supporting safeguarding, health & safety and compliance requirements
* Building strong relationships with parents and carers
* Supporting staff development, supervision and training
* Maintaining excellent standards in preparation for Ofsted
* Ensuring occupancy, staffing and nursery operations are effectively managed
We are looking for someone who:
* Has previous Nursery Manager, Deputy Manager or senior Early Years leadership experience
* Holds a recognised Level 3 Early Years qualification or above
* Has a strong understanding of the EYFS
* Has good knowledge of safeguarding and Ofsted requirements
* Is confident managing and developing a team
* Has excellent communication and organisational skills
