Nursery Manager
Birtley, North East
Up to £40,000 per annum, depending on experience
Permanent | Five days per week
Tiny Tots Recruitment is seeking an experienced Early Years leader for a permanent Nursery Manager opportunity in the Birtley area.
You will lead the nursery’s day-to-day operation, support and develop the staff team, and ensure children receive high-quality care and education in a safe, welcoming environment.
The role:
• Lead the delivery of the EYFS and maintain high standards of care and education.
• Oversee safeguarding, staff deployment and daily nursery operations.
• Support, supervise and develop the team.
• Build positive relationships with parents and carers.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure regulatory requirements are met.
• Work closely with the Deputy Manager to provide consistent management cover.
About you:
• A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification or above.
• Experience of leadership within an Early Years setting.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding and Ofsted requirements.
• Confident communication, organisation and people-management skills.
• A practical, supportive approach to leading a team.
Working pattern:
This is a five-day working week. Hours will vary according to the shift rota and nursery requirements. The Nursery Manager and Deputy Manager will coordinate their shifts to ensure management cover is maintained throughout opening hours.
Salary is up to £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
