Are you passionate about early childhood education and providing exceptional care to young children? We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Nursery Manager to lead our team and oversee the operations of our nursery.

Position: Nursery Manager
Location: Birstall
Salary: £14.44 (Negotiable depending on experience)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role:
As the Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for the professional leadership and effective management of our nursery. Your primary focus will be to ensure the highest standards of care and education for all children, in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework. This includes overseeing day-to-day operations, implementing policies and procedures, and creating a safe, compliant, and stimulating environment for children to thrive and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the nursery team, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
Ensure the delivery of high-quality early years provision, following the EYFS curriculum.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with children, parents, and staff members.
Implement and monitor safeguarding procedures to ensure the welfare of all children.
Oversee administrative tasks such as budget management, record-keeping, and staff scheduling.
Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and licensing requirements.Required Skills and Experience:

NNEB, BTEC, NVQ 111 or equivalent childcare qualification.
Proven experience in a senior role within an early years setting / within a nursery.
Knowledge and understanding of Welfare Requirements, EYFS,SEF. 
Previous childcare experience with age range three months to 12 years
Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
Knowledge of Health and Safety issues.
Knowledge and understanding of Equal Opportunities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with parents, staff, and external agencies.Benefits:
