Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to help run a friendly and comfortable Nursery in the Finchley area as their new Deputy Manager.
This nursery holds up to 60 children with a total of 5 classrooms.

* Salary - £33,000 + (negotiable)
* Office based role but will need to cover classrooms & kitchen when needed
* Can accommodate parking if necessary
So as a Deputy Manager what do you need to do to make this happen?
* Ensuring compliance with all policies, procedures, and practices to maintain high standards of care and safety.
* Overseeing and auditing all required administration and operational plans for effective and safe nursery operation.
* Have strong knowledge and understanding of the EYFS curriculum, child protection procedures, and health and safety legislation.
* Welcome new employees and new children into the nursery and implementing plans for them effectively, then supporting with the transitions of children and staff appraisals
* Delegating tasks within your team and championing their strengths
* Plan and organise daily activities and curriculum to promote early childhood development
* Collaborate with other departments or organisations to enhance the nursery programme
* Assist the Nursery Manager with the effective day-to-day management of the nursery.
* Support the Nursery Manager to identify training needs; develop training plans and evaluate training undertaken by staff.
Requirements
* NVQ3 minimum in Childcare or equivalent
* 1 year minimum experience as a Deputy Manager in a Nursery
