We are seeking enthusiastic, caring, and reliable Nursery Bank Staff to support nurseries across Hackney. This flexible role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with young children and are looking for work that fits around their lifestyle, studies, or other commitments.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the daily care, learning, and development of children aged 0-5 years.
* Assist in creating a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment.
* Engage children in age-appropriate activities, play, and learning experiences.
* Support mealtimes, personal care routines, and outdoor activities.
* Always follow nursery policies and safeguarding procedures.
* Work collaboratively with nursery practitioners and management teams.
Requirements
* Previous experience working with children in a nursery, preschool, school, or childcare setting is desirable.
* Relevant childcare qualification (Level 3 Early Years) is advantageous but not essential.
* A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with children.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
* Understanding of safeguarding and child protection responsibilities.
