Academics are actively recruiting for an ambitious and qualified Nursery Assistant to work within a prestigious independent school in Hemel Hempstead.

We are seeking an individual who ideally holds a Level 3 CACHE qualification or similar qualification to work on a full time basis Monday to Friday. Operation hours between 07:30 to 18:30 make this is an ideal role for applicants looking for flexible hours.

Working as a nursery assistant within this fantastic setting your day-to-day responsibilities will consist of:

Working as part of the nursery team and assist in any duties required.
Maintain a clean safe environment at all times and report any health and safety concerns to management team.
Ensure records of the children's day are completed and the details communicated to parents.
Availability to work in any areas of the Day Nursery undertaking the care and supervision of the children and in other areas of the nursery to ensure its smooth running.
Make observations on children and ensure learning journals are kept up to date.
Actively participate in the planning of activities to suit the children's needs and stages of development, supporting and promoting individual's learning.

Build and maintain positive and effective relationships with parents/carers.
